Chroma Lab in Dwell

When we started making our hand painted clocks, Tony and I said, "wouldn't it be great if one day they put one in Dwell?" Well, they did! We're chuffed to have our Orange Burst clock featured in the May 2011 issue. "Our Daily Spread" is a housewares story that includes three tablescapes. You'll think I'm biased of course, but my favorite is the first one, featuring our clock:

It's colorful and full of products from design studios we're pleased to be in company with, including Marimekko, Normann Copenhagen, and Vitra. The rest of the issue is one of my favorites in recent memory. It includes a look at furniture designer Monica Förster's model making, a story on how Greensburg, Kansas has progressed as a sustainable city since enduring a devastating tornado, and a fantastically fun Italian house tour (among other stories). So, in short, go get the May issue.

Thank you to Dwight Eschliman for the beautiful photography, Kevin Crafts for the food styling, and most of all to Jordan Kushins at Dwell, who has been so kind and supportive of our little company!
